You deserve a custom title for this post alone. Maybe something like "master of hugs." Or "likes giving hugs"?

I'd be interested in thoughts on your Maxima SE.

I bought a 1990 back in 1995. Looks like you have a 92-94. I really wanted a 92 (for the extra 20 horsepower over the 90) but I was in a time crunch and finding a manual transmission on one of these was harder than I thought it would be. Mine came with the factory Bose stereo. I didn't like the Bose home systems I had heard and looked on that as a negative, until I heard it. It actually sounded very pleasant. It seemed like Bose did some trickery with the imaging and to make the sound seem more smooth. It worked for me. It probably didn't hurt that I was listening to quality cassettes that I made from LPs.

It was trouble free for the first 8 years (except for clutch cylinders). That 9th year it started nickel & diming me too much and I decided to trade it in. I really enjoyed driving that car.

It's a '92 Manual with limited slip differential. I bought it new. My second one. I had the '89 on a lease. I was friends with the owners son of the Nissan in town and he calls me and tell me about the '92 and he has one for me to test drive. I said that I couldn't afford it and I have another year on the lease. Well I took it for a test drive and it was so freakin much nicer with the limited slip and the 32 valves per cylinder, Variable Valve Timing and the Corduroy Seats. So I said that's nice and was prepared to go on my merry way. So he says to me... "take it home and show it to the wife". Give me $400 and you can have a 3 year lease on the car and I will take your Silver '89. So for $400 I got that car and then at the end if the lease I bought it out. Bose system was good enough to not install new stereo for 13 years. Now has killer system. Glad you got to enjoy the car. Great vechicle, one of the best 4 door cars ever made IMO.

That would be interesting. It looks like maybe it is setting a bit lower. And it is one of your "mega stereo models".

I have another battery on the other side just for the lighting. It is independant and I charge it with my battery charger. No noise then in the stereo signal then.

I have 2 of these Pioneer Stage 4 subwoofers going in the back seat of the FRS in square non ported boxes with handles for easy removal.

This is the Pioneer Class D amp that I have to run the Stage 4 subs and the Soundstream Capacitor. Plus a have a Battery similar to the one in the Maxima as well.

The system will only be running 1200 watts with the Stage 4 subs. I have more subs that I can place in the back seat instead 12" Pioneer Competitions and get the full 2400 watts. But I don't need to blow out the thin glass of the FRS.

That's 8 gauge OFC wire above the Soundstream Cap for the Stage 4 sub speaker wiring.

PS: I'll try to get a pic of the RELs with the covers off when I can. They look cool with the aluminium construction.
