Friend wants to sell his (basically new) Soekris DAC2541. I offered to help him sell it. Any interest here? Suggestions on asking price? Aug 9, 2024

I typically start at 70% list price including taxes, then adjust up if market is good or bad, it’s rare/out of print, etc.

General guidelines here suggest starting at 60-70% of new item MSRP.

Keeping in mind that market value may vary - ex: there are a few rare items where 90% of MSRP is a great deal and other items where it's not going to sell anytime soon over 50%.

Also, searching HF, it looks like the last one that sold went for $650.

Just realized Photobucket took away 3rd party hosting, HE-6 thread died on me. Any image hosting recommendations? Imgur? SBAF?

I can't see a lot of Google (Drive?) images. I can see some of them.

Imgur is okay for organized uploading, but the anti-consumer design has been pissing me off for a while.
I like using xomf for one-off uploads, mostly because it's fast, simple, and nobody knows of it so it's never overloaded lol.

Thanks, everyone. I went with Imgur for now. All my measurements on outdated headphones should be updated now, phew.

Hi there. I was reading in your HE-6 mods thread and I noticed you mentioned you owned a he5le at some point. Do you happen to have any measurements on hand, or recommendations for mods? Thanks

        Here is a FR: http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk217/Blaraphon/HE-5LE%20L.png

While the peak is pretty considerable, I didn't find it to be too bothersome. Honestly, I'd consider using them as-is if you like the sound. If the treble is a bit intense, the Audeze pads can help, or you can throw a layer or two of TP under the pad.
