A measurement suite runs with results sent to an html report. This suite reduces my measurement time necessary by almost 50%. HTML is then converted to pdf for uploading. However the pdf approximately 1.2 to 1.5 MB, just a bit over size limit for posting single files on this forum.
Zipfile compression only nets another 100KB reduction. Suggestions on how to make this data available? PM me if interested in a preview for ECP Audio T4 data. Will need an email address to which I can send 1.5 MB pdf files.
@Syzygy - I experimented with converting png to svg. 60KB png grew to 80KB svg. I have found a program that splits the pdf pages into separate pngs which would make uploading to the forum possible, though at the expense of approximately 8 MB over two posts instead of 1.5 MB in one post.
However, maybe there are a *lot* of data points on each graph? SVG is just XML, so you can look at it with a text editor. I can't think of any other reason why the SVG would be so big comparably.
@Azteca - That would make life easy for me but require pdf viewers on the readers' browsers. dScope reports generated are HTML and I'm exploring a combination of unix tools + photo editors + file manipulation to convert HTML to png such that I could upload 10 pngs in a row and have them self-documenting. Labeling uploaded graphs is one of the more time consuming, tedious tasks in my measurement posts.
