    Helo,
My name is George and i am new here so fogive me if i post this on the wrong page.
I bought a Parasound Dac 2000 about 8 months ago. About a month ago started to do, ocasionally, distorted sounds on both speakers. It keeps doing distorted sound along with the played track or even without any song. Does not do this every day but still is very annoying. I listen from bluesound node 2i with coax cable connected to DAC2000.
    I need some help please...

    Hey George,

Before the dislikes start pouring in, your best bet is to post a quick hello about yourself in the "New Members" thread then post this question in the "All Purpose Advice Thread" .

We like to keep relevant information together so it's easier to find when needed.

    Good luck!!!!!

Have you tried contacting Parasound’s customer support?

Also, do you have another DAC you could use in place of the Parasound? If the same issue occurs, it may not be the DAC.

Another cheap test could be swapping out the coax cable with another to eliminate the cable as an issue.

More technically-inclined members will chime in with better advice soon, I am sure.

All else fails, it should still be under warranty, right?
