got them on amazon in used very good condition for like 40 bucks

It was mostly to check out how much I would like Bluetooth headphones, and man do I like it, so now I guess I might do some more research to see if there's anything I would like more for not an unreasonable quantities of money. Wirecutter recommends a pair of Jabras but they look more on ear whereas these are almost over ear for me

I'm thinking of getting one of those small bluetooth receivers and clipping it to something like my QC15s. You could do the same if you have a pair of headphones that you like (that are pretty efficient).

that would require having a cord hang down to the blue tooth receiver, i like having no cord at all, though using something like the noble audio thing for a pair of in ears wouldn't be so bad, I think it comes with a short CIEM cable to use instead of the 48" or 60" one they come with

I was thinking of getting this one (http://www.amazon.com/Avantree-Bluetooth-Headphone-Receiver-Wireless/dp/B00N7AWL2U) and clipping it to the headband of my headphones with a custom short wire. Not as clean as something with bluetooth built in, but keeps from having to get an entirely new set of headphones. If I go through with it, I will start a thread.

I've been using a Sony BT receiver for years with my V-Moda on ears, Koss clip ons, and more recently with the Oppo PM-3... With a short cable it's not very different from having actual BT headphones, at home your can even clip the thing to the headphones rather than yourself.
