Funny @Cellist88 was saying something similar vs. Goldpoint just yesterday I think. Which attenuators are you using?

I am in the el cheapo land. 12db rca harrison ones. Snagged them dirty cheap. They helped to use Grado in high gain magni 3+.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you prefer them to sys?

Less cabling fuckery, tad less rough on highs, and mildly better imaging. Except the first, high chance of placebo though lol.

I use the same so I can rock my Campfire Lyra II or Vega with my high gain amps. Not ideal, but one less level to set in my signal chain.

Do you two have them plugged directly into your amp or do you have it set up differently? I haven't found any discussion about it anywhere else, is there a specific impedance value you should look for or is that not an issue with these?

Alright, that's how I've had mine set up. I wasn't sure if it was bad to have them directly connected or not. I wonder if what I'm hearing is being caused by an impedance mismatch then. Thanks, Vtory.
