    Hearing a brighter HD650 from switching the adapter from a gold-colour to silver-colour one. Is the SW51+ able to make these differences more obvious than they really are (or more likely I am just ffing tired)?

    It might not be just you the SW51+ shows some weirdly noticeable cable differences on my end too. Could be the high output impedance (27/54 ohms) having some weird interactions.
