    If you can't reduce rear damping, you're kinda stuck with more front damping. If the front baffle is breathable anywhere, closing some of that off will generally add bass, thus relatively reducing treble. You can try adding front damping that doesn't cover the driver in full.

    You could try reducing rear damping and making the pads more breathable. More leakage, less bass. Sometimes that helps. Or maybe you need more dense, less breathable pads and work tuning from there.

    Getting your ear closer to the driver can help smooth and reduce treble.

    But you might just need to use less or a totally different rear damping scheme if it feels like you have to kill the sound to even out the tone.

    I think the peak I'm trying to mitigate is a combination of having angled drivers + Beryllium nasties? I think I figured out how to solve it (partial front damping + rear damping)
