    So I tried to make a compensation curve for the HD800S and AirPods Max (which I just got in and am testing atm) and came up with this on my third try:

    And I think to myself... yeah, this isn't too bad. Somewhat too much of a peak at 1.5kHz on the APM (I neither hear nor measure a peak there myself) that I don't see in crinacle's graphs either, but overall not too far off...

    Honestly, I'll make a thread about this. This is just too ridiculous not to mention. And here I was thinking the 5128 would actually be good. Maybe a curve with more upper mid gain, but then the upper mids on the other headphones aren't that suppressed, are they?
