like some entry-level Abbas? SFD-1 maybe also. Don't want to spend more than a used YA2/OG (~$1500), but want something syngegy-y w QS and better technically than my Gungnir, but keeps the same tonality roughly the same (I do really like the tone of the GA1). Hp is JAR600B.

You could tune abbas with tubes, but in general it has more of a project vibe, definitely not plug and play. If you want better technicalities I would go for a higher end model, which probably will be above your budget

If you want to go really crazy with abbas, he has some offers on his website now - 2.4SE for ~2300, or his prototype for 1300 (no case, bring your own chip)

@caute what you need to do is calm down and try it with what you have first. Make a decision from there
