Do you have some sort of verbose logging enabled? Anytime I’ve burnt out an SD on a Pi recently is due to leaving debugging on that writes to the SD card. Everything else I do is loaded to RAM, so not much touching of the SD else wise.

Yeah. I have not lost any SD card with my Pi. Then again PiCoreplayer loads to RAM so probably less stress on the card? What software you running?

That's why I switched to piCorePlayer (runs off RAM only, no disc writes). Volumio kept killing SD cards.

@Vansen No verbose logging that I know of, but good call out. I'll make sure.

@Poleepkwa Right now these are all RoPieee endpoints created from images.

Oh man, RoPieee has been robust on the RPi 4 and RPi 3 for me. Has me curious. I usually use 128GB high endurance cards on RPis these days, but five years later and I'm still using the cheapest 32gb Samsung and SanDisk cards on my RoPieee players.

Yeah. I also had RoPieee for a long time. No issues either.

I've had one micro SD go bad in a Pi in the last 5 years. Running 4 of them: moOde, Umbrel, 2 OpenBSD-based DNS servers. The latter 2 download and process blacklist files nightly.
