Update...LH Labs came to the party big time! After a few emails with Manny to see if I could reflash here using the XMOS tools, they decided to simply ship me a replacement no questions asked, free and clear. I didn't request anything more than a bit of help with getting the reflash done and was perfectly willing to void the warranty to do so, and literally out of the blue they shipped a new unit out instead.

Perhaps it helped that I didn't rant and rave, and took accountability for my part in bricking the device, but even so I consider this a more than generous resolution. Manny and Matt were both polite, agreeable and came across authentically concerned with getting this resolved.

So to LH Labs, thank you for putting your best foot forward! This has made the difference between a past customer and a present one. I really hope you make strides in addressing the QA issues you have struggled with as you grow, and continue the trajectory shown with the GOV2 line towards becoming a true value in the HiFi space. You don't need unobtanium snake-oil USB cables to be successful, just keep this up and focus on tieing up your loose ends and the customers will come (and stay).

    Well done.

Good to read you have resolution. I disklike the first Geek Out, but I've always found LH Labs Customer service to be fairly responsive. This is not the first time I've read them go above and beyond. And their other products do make a difference, skeptics notwithstanding. Its just the light at then end of the tunnel takes so long to get too, you suffocate waiting for it.
