Am I a Waste of Space on SBAF

Hi all

It has been noted that I am OK in small does, but I am subsequently toxic upon exposure. Please vote in the poll so that I know whether to stay or go. I am not always good at reading between the lines. Please make it clear to me. Comments and criticisms are invited.

I'm sure there are quite a few here who would love to have at my throat, too, but that doesn't stop my thick face from showing up either way.

A number people have commented that some people are welcome here, others post for a while and either leave or are shown the door. I have Aspergers and am not good at interpreting social hints and queues. Just trying to determine whether I am one of the people who others would be relieved to see go. Perhaps the individual was delegated to approach me in this way to point me to the exit.

Apologies if I come across as whinging. I am just confused and a little paranoid and upset.

 

Yes - Thanks for asking. I see her once a month and a GP once a month, so I see someone once a fortnight. I also take medication.

Thanks Purrin. I value your opinion. If I were to follow that logic I would avoid all social interaction (which I have a tendency to do in real life). I imagine, though, that the relative anonymity of the interweb makes hurtful comments a greater risk.

Do I take the bad with the good? I need some outlet to discuss the things I love and there is no-one nearby with whom I can do this.

Hey dude. I briefly considered sending this via PM but I'm going to do it here anyway.

Everything is cool. There is no drama. Whatever offense you might have taken from someone's comment...let it slide off you and keep chugging on. FWIW, I find your status updates moderately amusing and that's all I can ask for.

At the same time, this sort of post is indicative of a sort of hyper-sensitivity that serves no purpose other than some sort of weird, self-flagellatory masturbation. If Kunlun says mean shit to you that doesn't mean you're a waste of space. I realize you may have certain medical or personal traits that make jumping to this conclusion seem rational, but the best I can tell you is that it's not. When people post stuff like this, it's because they want attention or pity. And again, that serves no purpose for this forum.

There will be no vote with regard to whether you can stay or go, or whether you're a waste of space or not. You decide that. Unless you become so much of a major problem to the moderators (you haven't, you're not really even on our radar) that we are forced to make that sort of decision. Right now, you have the agency to decide whether you can interact with people on this forum or not.

That's all I think needs to be said.
