I just bought a used Feliks Audio Elise in the HF buy/sell, and it arrived today. Had been planning to use it both for headphones as well as as a preamp for powered speakers. Unfortunately one of the preamp outs is dented and will not accept an RCA cable:

Is this something I can easily fix? Can I just carve out a little of the inner plastic to make it round and be good to go?

There is no way this could have happened in transit - box was well padded internally and there was no external damage. Would you give the seller negative feedback for this?

Looks like carving out a bit of the plastic should work. From a conductivity standpoint you should still be fine, so give it a whirl. If push comes to shove it is relatively easy to replace that RCA jack, you unsolder two wires, unscrew, drop in new one, tighten, resolder wires. As for negative feedback, check the pictures in the ad to see if it was visible. If it not, call him on it and give less than positive feedback. Might not need to be negative, but you can easily make a case for neutral.

Thanks, @Smitty. A little bending with needle nose pliers did the trick :).

Looking back, it was visible in the for sale pics, though he didn't mention it and the pics weren't great. I didn't notice it, and he says he was unaware of it. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.
