[FS] Microsoft Office 2016/19, Nuance Power PDF editor

I couple oddball items that I thought I'd offer here for anyone interested.

I have several box copies available of Microsoft Office Home & Business 2016 and 2019. These are legit sealed boxes, purchased from a retailer. These are not Office365. You install once and that's it; no monthly fees. In the box is a card with a download key. It's stupid, but you use that key and enter it into the download site, which then lets you download the software to install. It then tries to tie the product key to your Microsoft account, but if you're a knob like me who absolutely hates MS sticking their fingers into your business, what you do is you say you will install the product key manually. Then on the next screen you can find your product key, write it down, and then finish your install manually and put in the key. Seriously, write down the product key, because that particular screen is almost impossible to find afterwards. Or just install it under your MS account because it's easier, whatever, I'm not your mother.

I'm not entirely sure if these are reasonable prices. Open to offers from friends. Free shipping for Canucks. Possibly free shipping for anyone else (or really, I could just open the box and tell you the key and that's all you need and I'll shred the card after).

I also have a two box copies of Nuance Power PDF 2.0 (Nuance has since been purchased by Kofax). Nuance isn't as well known as the usual suspects like Adobe or Nitro, but it's a good piece of software and what I personally use on my own laptop. In the box is an installation cd and a serial # that you use to activate (you can find the download files online as well). No registration accounts or other shenanigans required.

If there's a friend here who's a starving student and could really use a copy for school or whatever and you can't get a student version, let me know and maybe I can help you out.

 

Dammit if I couldn't have waited a bit before renewing my subscription, haha. If you or anyone else has a licence key for win10 64-bit though then that's another matter entirely (might still go Linux for new PC build but need at least one Windoze machine for work).

GLWS, these seem pretty good prices given that a family plan costs USD100/yr (and a personal subscription goes for about USD72/yr). Not sure if this comes with the 1TB OneDrive storage but this may be entirely unnecessary.

 

If you have an old pc case sitting around that has a Windows sticker on it, you can reuse the key as long as it's Win7 or up.

 

Unfortunately all previous PCs have been re-homed or disposed of so I can't quite do that, and last I checked transferring the OEM activation on my current laptop is... frowned upon. At this rate I might well just bite the bullet and hope support for this version goes on for more than 5 years, but I'm plainly irked that a licence is somehow twice the US MSRP where I live. How even.
