Spoiler: Schiit Gungnir Multibit (A2, Unison, silver) - SOLD

Schiit Gungnir Multibit A2 Unison -- $900 SOLD

• Originally bought in January 2019, then updated to unison in October 2020.
• Mint physical condition and sounds great. (see pics below)
  
• Selling because I prefer the sound presentation of the Soekris dac2541 (now the walnut x dac), even though I can see many people preferring the more slamming/resolving nature of the Gungnir overall.

DNA Sonett 2, electro harmonix 6H30P, several rectifiers -- $950 SOLD!

• Bought here from @tommytakis for ~$990 (with shipping) a couple months ago.
  
• Excellent physical condition and everything sounds great. (see pics below)
• Will come with a pair of 6H30P electro harmonix tubes (maybe added a hundred hours on them tops), as well as several rectifier tubes, including my favorite: the 5u4g rca coke bottle tube. It just looks so ridiculous on this smaller amplifier (see pics), and helps tighten the transients and add a slight punch a little over other rectifiers.
• Selling because I acquired @tommytakis 's starlett, 'nuff said lol. The sonett 2 has the same "house sound" as the starlett, but keep in mind the output impedance is different (28 ohms on the sonett 2 vs 9 ohms on the starlett for XLR). I found the verite closed and grados to sound pretty great with the sonett 2. The utopia also sounded good, but it was a little bassier because of the higher output impedance. I'd say the sonett 2 is "black widow level", maybe slightly better, and is one of the best tube amps you can buy in this price range. The starlett is another level up but is also twice the price. Very few of these were made before they were discontinued, iirc only 18 total.
  
  

Spoiler: Grado Hemp - SOLD

Grado Hemp, balanced XLR Terminated, free turbulent audio XL headband -- $320 SOLD

• Bought new in august 2020.
• Condition is great, with no visible wear on pads and no scratches or whatnot. Will come with a turbulent audio XL full-grain replacement headband ($60 new) that improves comfort when installed.
• Will also come with a XLR plug instead of the standard 1/8" plug. The hemp sounds really good out of the 3F!
• Selling because... well, as you guys may know, I really liked this headphone upon release. So much so I actually decided to try my hand at a GH2 and found one used at a great price. Turns out I like the more resolving nature of the GH2 slightly more, even though the hemp I feel has a more beautiful decay. I can't justify keeping two grados, so the hemp is on the chopping block.
  

Spoiler: 3F Amorphous Transformers - SOLD

LL1676 Amorphous Transformers (for 3F) -- $250 SOLD

• These were the original transformers in my 3F I received in early March 2020. (reminds me, I really really need to update those initial impressions, as they're super out of date and my impressions of the amp have greatly changed).
• Condition is excellent and is now totally burned in. I've used my 3F a lot, the transformers probably have several hundred hours on them. Transformers don't really degrade though, so they are still in excellent condition. I find them to be transparent and neutral sounding -- I personally love the sound of the amorphous transformers, as I feel they best let the upstream and downstream components shine without adding any color.
• Selling because I went full on crazy and had doug make me some LL1948ag silver amorphous plug-in transformers. I'll write more about this soon in the 3F thread, but the silver transformers have the same tonality as the regular amorphous, but a step up in resolve/nuance and with better imaging/deeper staging. If there was ever a direct step-up to the regular amorphous 3F, I feel this would be it. Given the silver transformers have been in my 3F for several weeks at this point with no issues, I see no reason to keep the normal amorphous transformers.

Spoiler: DUNU LUNA - SOLD

DUNU LUNA + ES100 -- $1050 $995

• Purchased these new in March 2020, the es100 bought new around earlier this year to replace my beat-up es100
• Condition of both are excellent (will show pictures soon... no defects as far as I can tell). Maybe a combined total of 200 hours (see selling reason). Will come with all of the original LUNA accessories, as well a separate campfire audio raw leather case I bought that I prefer to the default luna case.
• Selling because... I just don't use IEMs that much anymore, and actually never did use them much before either. I now use Airpods Pro for any "IEM" use, even though it's not as resolving or dynamic or whatnot as higher end IEMs, because it's just so convenient to put in/take off, with noise cancellation and no wires and a compact size. I don't ever see myself going back or making good use of an IEM rig, so selling all my IEMs and not looking back.
  
• Hopefully this goes to someone who loves IEMs and will appreciate them. It's still really hard to part with.. great technical ability, and great tonality if you get fit right (very sensitive to tip insertion/tips). I always preferred DD IEMs to BA IEMs (something about timbre/coherence), and the LUNA is the best DD I've heard (I've had fdx1, andromedas, and jomo sambas in the past), with excellent transient response, microdynamics, and resolve. Pairs well with es100 balanced out. Again, only really selling because I just don't use IEMs much other than airpods pros nowadays, for convenience.
  
  
  

Spoiler: Little Bear B4 (burson op-amp) - SOLD

Little Bear B4 Portable Tube Amplifier, with burson v5i op-amp upgrade -- $50 $35 SOLD

• Purchased sometime 2019, can't remember/find amazon receipt
• Condition is great - maybe used 50 hours. Upgraded op-amp to a burson v5i, which helps it sound more punchy/clean. this is _not_ the balanced version - only 3.5mm out here. will come with original charging cable
  
• Sounds very tubey, surprisingly powerful for such a small amplifier, one of the Zeos recs that I feel he got right. More tubey than lyr 3. Sounds great with senns and zmfs. Be warned though: the tubes are very sensitive, so if you drop it or hit it it will cause very loud ringing!
• Selling because: I bought it as an impulse buy, and while it sounds great, I just never used it and kinda forgot about it. Need to be more rigorous about downsizing what I don't use. Will probably sell my full portable setup in the next "garage sale" but I'm just not ready yet.

Also very much interested in the Sonett 2, but I'll let @HotRatSalad get first dibs on it unless he decides he doesn't need it, as they did me a big favor sending me their SW51+.

Grado hemp has been sold. Gungnir A2 has been withdrawn yet again for the time being while I try out and decide between different dacs. Will put everything else on head-fi soon, and also possibly list other stuff soon as well.

(Will also update main post but I accidentally made formatting mistakes and they've been "auto-saved" so I have to wait until things are "forgotten", or reformat things)

 

Gungnir A2 back on sale. Maybe I'll get more visibility if I list it separately though?
