Ok folks, the sale of the MCTH is on pause. I'm going to open it and compare it to the Lyr 3. I will drop the price and reopen the sale once that's done.

Also... I was seriously conflicted about selling this thing at full price to anyone in the SBAF community anyway. It just doesn't make sense to buy one from me at full price when the drop is still on-going and shipping immediately. Why? Massdrop does not allow the warranty to transfer, and there is no return on these, so if shit goes sideways it is guaranteed to be a colossal pain in the ass for both of us. That's why I'm going to use it, make sure it's good, and sell it for a loss later. (Maybe.)

So, common sense folks. Go buy yours direct from Massdrop.

Also, not for nothing but could anyone compare the LSR308s to the JBL x Massdrop kids that people here seem to love? Just realized this was priced as a pair :|

 

I know the 308's extend lower into the bass (just looking at the spec sheets), but I have no clue how they compare otherwise.

TLDR; lsr305 is better value. At the price Elnrik has them I would have snapped them up if I wasn't planning on DIY speakers.
