Garbage- Strange Little Birds High Res 24/96 ......No Really.......it's Garbage

Got a chance to hear the new Garbage album in wonderful high res 24/96. I had to tell my buddy to turn it off after after the third song. Loud is an understatement here, perhaps not clipping like Garbage v.2 but worse dynamically.

Yes, now I know why Marvey has moved over to vinyl..........................it is to listen to Garbage. The DR report on the 24/96 measured the overall DR of the 24/96 download at 4 firmly in the middle of the Bad section.

The vinyl version of the album did remarkably well for a Garbage album at 10 firmly in the middle of the transition section between bad and good.

Why would anyone pay for this crap? Oh wait, I did for all the older Garbage CDs, and as compressed as they are they are not this bad. For all you high res guys, don't be a sucker and pay extra for this.

Thank goodness the new Radiohead CD showed up at home today. Let's hope it is nothing like Garbage.
