    ALL SOLD.

After the Nashua meet I'm planning on consolidating and selling gear I don't need anymore to pay off some other stuff and probably find an HD800. I don't want to ship anything other than the HD650 until after the meet this Friday (since there will be a few HD6XX there anyway) so the rest is just an interest check I'm making while waiting in this airport. Non-Friends pay fees.

HD650: bought these a few weeks ago used for $259. Just got them before my flight but I don't think I'm going to use them enough to warrant actually keeping. $250 all in for Friends.

DX1000: Originally got these from Luckbad for I think $320 because they were faulty. I thought just gluing a loose part back on fixed it but I ended up having to shave the inner cup and mess with the driver a bit because wood shavings got into the driver. Would it be douchy to ask for $375 all in for the extra few hours of work to repair them? Still less than any other DXK and less than the TH-X00. A couple nicks in the cups and housing. Potentially on hold for another trade anyway.

T1: They're in shit condition but I only want $400 all in for them. They came with some mods which made them warmer than stock. I added an AKG driver foam to tame treble more. I think I paid $375 for them a few weeks ago and they came with broken gimbals. I riveted some extra steel supports. I'd ask for more but holy shit they're in bad cosmetic condition.

Super IC: HE-5 with Blue Dragon cable. Full disclosure: I traded a wooden SR325i worth like $350ish in parts for it. Only getting rid of it if the HD800 works out sublimely in my system. Otherwise I'm going to Code-X this. The original owner was going to sell these for $425 plus shipping. I'll do $400 all in. PENDING.

Abraxasaudio 6197 amp: I don't really know what to say about it other than that it's a beautiful amp and I prefer it to the Crack. I don't want to qualify statements since I don't have a Crack to directly compare it to. I don't really expect people to buy this deaf so this is mostly for the NH meet people. $350 and we split shipping.

Geek Out 1000: Probably don't need to describe this much. It works, it's red, its lettering is fading. $110 all in.

Pictures tonight. I'll shave off $10 from anything if you pick up at Nashua.

Oh em gee, it's an HE-5!

Urg... very tempted to trade my HD800 for this now to keep as a backup in case I need another Code-X. HD800 can be had for cheap after HD800S hits anyway.

    So yeah, I'm very interested.

You know you want to! Luis hasn't answered my emails so I'm leaning more towards the HD800.

Yeah, Luis is busy with his exams, so I don't think you'll see him answering anything any time soon. I'm still waiting on my Code-X to come from him. It's just that I know how rare HE-5 is now, and should anything happen, I'll still have a spare. Haha

Anyway, if you'd like to do this, we can do a trade. Your HE-5 + $400 for my HD800. I'll grab the 800 again probably some time next year, since there'll be at least 4 HD800 modded by me in the wild, not including the one I'm offering for trade now, so... what say ya? ;)

To sweeten the deal, I can also re-terminate the stock cable to XLR 4-pin and turn the stock 1/4" jack to an XLR 4-pin adapter for you (free of charge, of course). I kinda liked that when I was handling CEE TEE's HD800, but I had some spare cables lying around so I didn't bother doing it just yet. Haha

I'll get back to you after this Saturday! I want to see how the HD800 sounds on my system before committing but if I sell my DX1000 you've got yourself a deal.

    Sounds good.

Yeah, no rush or implication from me. I still enjoy my modded HD800 a lot after all. I just thought it'd be good if more folks had my mod. \/

    Bill-P,
are you suggesting I send my stock HD800 for your mods before just giving up the ghost on the Purrin/Zerodeefex laser cut mod from heavenly material and selling the HD800?

hm, what to do what to do....

Bring the HD650 to the meet and you might sell them. We can use with the Bifrost Multibit and Valhalla2 at my station.

Alright, I shouldn't get them now after having spent tons recently, but I'm gonna get them anyway, so I like the price.

No!! We're both just going to the same meet Saturday and I was hoping to use it at my station with the loaner Bifrost Multibit and my Valhalla2. Not in the market right now...

650 still available? I'm just casually considering it. Just got a r70x, may want to test against a 650 and sell off loser down the road
