how to use Creative ZXR or onboard soundcard as Dac ?

    hi so am getting the vali 2 and also taking the creative zxr of mine with my on vacations so just wanted to know the procedure to use the creative zxr as a dac and not use its amp as i dont want double amping obviously anyways i was wondering how would i do that I saw how to do it a year ago but can't find it anyone know how?

    Ah yeah, if you want the purest sound that is true. But you can still use the DSP and not go stereo direct if you want the gaming effects and such.

    thanks guys thats a easy solve thankfully i will not need a dac as its just for vacation but I can't go back the zxr amplifier after my current setup the vali 2 should do fine for the holidays and once again thanks guys great help
