For most over-ear headphones, hard ears are generally OK...Some ears might protrude a bit too much and affect the fit on the measurement rig. It's on-ear stuff that might not work so well.

I can’t tell if one is slightly larger than the other or not. You’d have to contact them and see if they’re symmetrical.

The shape of the housing around the ears may not fit in the BE head without some modifications.

    Possible candidate, though.

    I will report :D

Pulled the trigger yesterday. 80 AUD with free shipping seemed fair to me.

Picked up the POP ears from the customs today. Here you can see them next to the other models:

    Upper left: Binaural Enthusiast
    Upper right: Inspektor Gadjet
    Bottom: POP Microphones

The POPs are moulded symmetrically with a soft silicone.
Shapewise they are not too specific. Size is also within the average (about 6,8 cm in length).

The mount is kinda specific, made for being wrapped over the 3Dio-ish base unit. But I think I can fix it from the inside of the dummy head with some silicone glue. There shouldn't be any gaps this way since the front surface area is very large.

I appreciate the way the entrance of the ear canal is moulded. It narrows down in width in front of the capsule (which fits into an area of 16 x 4 mm btw).

Looks like a promising pair of ears so far ;)

If anybody in Europe still needs a pair of ears, just send me a PM. Going to sell one of the other models (Inspektor Gadjet or Binaural Enthusiast) sooner or later.

    Regards
    Dr. S.

Found these ears while looking for something else:

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1133291622.html

They might be able to be fitted to RANDY or to a flat plate or some other head (EARS?) Holes need to be cut/drilled for mics.

As far as I can tell from the pics L & R look like mirror images. Soft silicone (don't know if realistically 'human' in texture/properties, but for the price they could be worth trying), and supposedly 'anatomically accurate' (whatever that means given human variation).

    I like the green ones.

Tbh, they look like toys. :D

How do you imagine the mounting and sealing with the dummy head?
