Lighted Mini-Extensions

To plug my Schiit in, I often use little mini-extensions, because you know, you can’t fit those freaking wall warts into power strips or outlets if you have lamps and shit. The ones I have are the clear type with flickers lights so you can find them at night. Do these little porkers make my cheap gear more noisy? Should I just buy ones without the illumination? It’s so weird the things you ponder when you have too much free time...
