From Peter Lie at Lumin today...

    https://www.luminmusic.com/lumin-p1-mini.html

P1 MINI has these advantages over T3:

    1. Digital / analog inputs
    2. Femto clock
    3. Linear power supply
    4. Fiber network (SFP)
    5. Included physical remote (primarily for input selection and volume adjustment), which is an optional purchase for other non-P1 Lumin models

"Most importantly - not obvious from the specifications, P1 MINI is meant to be priced competitively to bring our flagship level features to a medium price point, in the same way that we put our latest technology and DAC design essence in D3 at a low price point."

Some other key features on the P1 Mini landing page...
    Main features
Five inputs including USB, HDMI, SPDIF and Analogue
HDMI with stereo input + AV Passthrough & ARC
    Dual DAC ES9028PRO
    DSD512 & PCM384
Femto Clock System with precision FPGA distribution
New internal toroidal linear power supply
Dual Network with Optical Fibre Network support
    LEEDH Processing lossless volume control

    and...

    5 digital & analogue inputs
Versatile enough for any audio or video stereo system:

USB: Industry-leading XMOS USB audio controller
    Native DSD512 and PCM384 compatible
Windows 10 & Mac OS compatibility
    ANALOGUE: Stereo analogue input
    LEEDH volume processing
Passthrough function for home cinema integration with custom naming functionality
    SPDIF OPTICAL & RCA
    DoP64 / 192 kHz 24-bit compatible
    TOSLINK & SPDIF (RCA)
    HDMI: HDMI 2.0 Specification compatible
Supports 2.0 PCM audio decoding, HDR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS passthrough, ARC compatible output

Lumin continues to hit home runs "out of the ballpark".

I could teach a DFSS course using Lumin as an exemplar of a company that consistently operates at a very high-level of execution with respect to very well understanding customer needs & requirements, developing innovative, very well-designed and specified products, and thereby consistently provide excellent Value* for customers.

    *-where Value=Quality/Price.

By the way, the yellow test is unreadable in the lighter forum settings.

Finally more of these companies realize they should put HDMI ARC in their streamers (I know I have been a broken record about this). Options have been so limited, and some companies implementations so poor, that I was forced to just upgrade a Bluesound Node X for my purposes.

Am I missing something though, do they say the price anywhere?

I haven't seen what the price of the P1 Mini will be yet, guys. As soon as I know, I'll update here.

    Cheers.

My aplogoies, I don't know what all the color schemes folks are using for their personal settings. I'm using the default black background and the yellow showed fine against that. i've gone back and edited the color so it should be easier to view.

My guess is it will be around $5K. Knowing first-hand how well Lumin executes on their product design, for a component that is likely a very high-quality streamer, DAC, preamp *and* AVR, my thought is it will be an excellent value proposition at that price. Hell, my LampiZator Baltic 3 DAC alone cost over $5K.
