    Back in the day, Roger Waters "Amused to Death" was recorded in Q Sound. And this is a stellar sounding recording. But when I listen to many albums, I have sounds imaging on the side walls, behind me and at times a sphere of music around me. I have always thought it was done with phase/out of phase. This is not all recordings, just some. I am just curious how this is done.
