A temporary scenario where I need a multi-channel power amp has come up. I need 5-channels but more than that would be acceptable if that's what you have. PM me if you have something!

If it was for me, I'd definitely be all over something like that! It is actually for a very entry level system that my brother has with some Polk speakers. It is really only an opportunity to use my Monolith HTP-1, so I need to get a power amp. The rest of my stuff is in storage for awhile.

I guess to be more specific, I've got my eyes on something like the Outlaw 5000X, or similar. There are a couple Rotel options I've seen that look pretty interesting, but the deals aren't quite that good. I like the idea of the light weight Class D stuff, but the prices are a bit outside of what I'm trying to spend. I'd like to be less than $1,000 if I can help it.

The obvious choice (for me) is a Monolith 5 channel amp, but I'd like to get something slightly depreciated as opposed to buying new.

Adcom stuff was definitely something I knew I should look for, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for. Is there a specific product line that is most well regarded, or is it pretty much everything from Adcom?

@sheldaze Has given me the straight hookup, but I am going to leave this open for a bit longer. Through some very silly and unlikely mishaps of my own doing, the amp sheldaze sent me was shipped to an old employer. So I need to make an awkward trip over there to pick it up. As long as they didn’t throw it in a dumpster or the FedEx man didn’t drop kick it, then my search will be complete once I can manage to go retrieve it.
