All dislikes should be likeable or dislikeable. We need a deeper meta.

 

Maybe everyone should be able like or dislike? Or only the very best of us get to dislike, that'd be cool too.

 

Alas, nothing is fair. If you were upset / offended by the pedo neckbeard comment, you could have reported that. You called him out directly instead, kudos for being direct and forthright. However, you didn't get upset about the back and forth until he disliked your post. Then you reported the dislikes. You are missing the forest for the trees. If there is merit to your "be decent" assertion, then argue that. If Kunlun doesn't give a shit, then walk away. If you can only care about likes and dislikes, please shut up.

Also, it was not long ago that dickslapsdislikes were a badge of honor, a way for others to know you were not afraid to stir the pot or directly disagree with the powers that are.

I don't have a tendency of ever reporting stupid comments on forums. It's much better to answer them and show how stupid they are. That's how forums normally work, that's what I did. You don't report, you answer straight up. But dislikes on this forum show right up. The reason I reported was, Kunlun disliked my post ("A pedo? And I'm the one with dislikes? ") that made fun of his post:
(What's Z going to do if warrior or any of us says these things to his face, throw stale cheetos at us? This guy is a pedo neckbeard. His fedora is my litterbox. He is gross and I prefer not to watch him, but making fun of him is absolutely part of the entertainment.)

He didn't like my post because he got a bit of his ass handed to him. As I said, I really wasn't the one calling people pedos - but I got five dislikes.
