Don’t forget about HD580, I like them better the HD600 and you can usually get them cheaper.

There is nice pair for $125 on my local Craigslist...just saying lots of options.

 

I had the hd 580 and while sound wise they do sit in between the 600 and 650 (and also less peaky upper mids than both), they generally have worst pads than a used hd 600/650 (especially if the hd 600/650 are using the newer drivers like the listing I posted) which really impacts clarity and muddy things up.

That being said if I see a hd 580 with newish pads and a hd 6x0 grill, I'd take one over a used 600/650.

 

This seller has HD600/650s on a irregular basis like this. Also sells them on Reddit for a little less.

 

How bad is the condition usually?

 

Here's his Reddit account -- he has some photos of his products there, and they're usually in good shape. His eBay listings often don't include cables, but if you contact him on Reddit, he'll include the cables if he has them for a slightly higher price.

 

I never bought one. I just read about renewlogic/paintballer1833 either earlier in this thread or maybe one of the HD6X0 threads.

Is this a pretty good price? I feel like I've seen the Andromeda+ZX2 combo cheaper before.

I'd of probably jumped on it already if I wasn't looking for a Stratus. I'm still really tempted though.

Thank you. Only letting them go because as stated, I have an ear problem that makes IEMs quite unbearable after a short period of time. Tried looking into building a full size setup as complete as Andro + ZX2 and it looks like I have to spend at least 2x, if not 3x the money...
