My suspicion is that he tried to sand off the engraving to sell off that item too.

It's pens. Y joined the group a few years after I did and someone gave him a few pens to work on after he claimed to be able to restore them and because he was a newbie. X was being nice. Yeah, people are thinking the same re why the engraving was sanded off.

I sold my Micro iDSD for similar reasons. I loved the amp itself, but the switches on the bottom caused issues.

The DAC section is no slouch either, but that's preference talking (also I preferred the Bifrost which is in the same price bracket, haha).

I will likely have it repaired then get something like a Fulla 2 for an AIO I can take around. Dragonfly also a candidate, but having a big ol knob makes for a compelling argument :))

There's also the Nano BL - more expensive than the Fulla or Dragonfly but has iEMatch, which comes from a second output socket rather than via a switch. And it has a big knob :)

HAH! I will concede OGG gets close (to my ears), but yeah there's no replacing lossless codecs.

As for f2k, I still love it but am sorely tempted to buy JRMC after my trial expires. Sigh, SQ aside it's just a lot nicer to use XD

Install the DarkOne4Mod V1 skin by Tedgo on deviantart. Incredible skin and makes F2K so much easier to use.

I will admit I first thought we were talking about phone UI overlays and was about to rebut saying One UI looked hella good, then I saw f2k and decided I'd check that out after all :))

Do note that I've never once claimed to have good taste in music. Also this brings me right back to high school so I'm kinda on the fence about that.

@zerodeefex Haha, that makes sense. Got to try a Vive in store some time ago and that's what got me hooked on VR. Still working towards a PC that can handle it, but it's in the pipeline.

On that note kinda sucks I have to go grey market for the Pixel (top contender; that camera!), but that comes with the territory I guess.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to try them both on in a store and see if one is more comfortable to wear.

@FallingObjects That's the plan, but it's harder to track down the Daydream than I expected. I'm optimistic about finding one in a mall where there's loads of grey market stuff, but I... have had bad luck "losing" things in crowds there, haha.

@Thad E Ginathom That's exactly what's wrong with my mobile, actually. The battery on my Z Play barely lasts half a day of modest use after two years and change. Makes me wonder where Moto gets their batteries made.

It is not the two years I mind so much as the not-customer-replaceable. I just want to be able to easily buy a new one.

Being fair to my X-Play: it had dropped from over 36 hours of battery life to having to charge it every night. It still got through most days. It was still as good as any other phone I had.

Ahh yeah, user-replaceable batteries need to make a comeback. The one on my Moto lasted 36 easily with moderate use, which makes its current state stand out all the more. Lenovo makes a good phone, and the gesture controls on the Moto are among the better I've had the pleasure of using.

@Taverius does cable run underground in Venice? If it does, strikes me that they'd have a better excuse than most other places for internet problems.

@JustAnotherRando Some does I'm sure, it also runs beside the houses etc. Its just all old copper so regardless you can imagine how well its doing in the sea air.

And with the population down to 20% of what it was, not much incentive to bring fiber to somewhere so difficult.

I'm happy to know that you upgraded the internet, although... it doesn't seem any better here.

@Lyer25 many streamers and youtubers play both so I've seen quite a lot of it. Like a whooooole lot.

If I didn't play either I might be tempted but I'm already invested 1k+ hr into warframe, and there's not really enough time in a week to play both.

Ah, better stick with what's already near to the heart then (same with audio gear? haha). My girlfriend occasionally streams games and has a lot of hours into Overwatch so I've certainly seen enough of the game to know I'd enjoy it were I any good with FPS. She's on For Honor now though, impressions pending.

I can move around, just that I've developed a hacking cough that doubles me over if I bend my body in such a way that stresses out the itchy bits.

Not the worst I've felt so I'm in good enough humour, but I honestly can't breathe through my nose just now.

If that cough is in your chest and it's that bad and if you feel really bad you may want to check in with a doc and make sure you don't have pneumonia or something.

@Lyer25 Different volume means one of them isn't bit-perfect. You need WDM/WASAPI or ASIO output selected in FB2K.

@famish99 And here I am running everything out of my computer, a laptop no less. Something tells me that's the bottleneck, haha.

@bengo Huh, odd. A+ trial expired so will have to make sure to be careful with JRMC; running f2k with no plugins atm, it's... same old same old.

Yeah I checked my settings and as of JRMC 24, SoX was not enabled by default so I think my setup between JRMC and foobar2k is as close as I can get.

Now when i walk around at night I get super paranoid that someone is going to materialize behind me and stab me to death.

@kixx I think it's a matter of expectancy skewing perception, training, and how much mucus is in the ears. There have been times when I couldn't tell the studio recording of one song from the live version, even back to back. Those are definitely off days, haha.

When the headache hits, combined with a nasty cold and bad weather .... yeah, off day. More like offline for me haha.

BokuAca is brilliant, really. I've read the manga and re-watched epsiodes too, never seem to get tired of it! They got the balance of western comics and good ol shonen just right, which is impressive.
