    Not to troll you too hard, but aren't you an MBA @AllanMarcus? If I can pay $800 for the same amp, why are replying with an offer of $850 for a friend? $750 might be a more friendly price or offer at least to match it.
    As an MBA student, I think your offer is for me to poop on ;), especially in this thread.

    Well, I looked on audiogon and didn't see an $800 Taurus, so it might be hard to find to someone who might be interested. I saw one at a much higher price there, and I've generally seen them sell for $900 or more, which is what I paid for it earlier this year. $800 would be an awesome price for this amp, $750 would be fantabulus. I'm not in any hurry to sell it; I haven't even posted it yet. I was just putting it out there

    Not sure what my degree has to do with this. I also have a degree in political economy, if that matters to you.

    But I should not have posted it in this forum anyways, as that is bad form. I apologize.

    This listing. Made a counter offer to me for $770 and shipping is $30, so all in $800. If one was to make an offer to him for $770, I'd guess it will be accepted. Thats the lowest he said he will go. Extremely good price for a very solid SS amp and preamp. Honestly speaking, I've yet to hear a cleaner sounding SS amp with gobs of power and after hearing the pre-amp, I no longer use the Freya in SS mode. I can't fault it if I tried. Unless specific sound properties like warmth etc are desired from an amp, the taurus is an extremely good amp. Can't think of what cleaner SS amp I'd upgrade to, if I had to. Heard the GSX-MKII and it sounds aggressive compared to the Taurus (BRIGHTNESSSS, Hello- where is the bass sir?) and heard the Moon Neo 430HA and it sounds smoother, whereas the Taurus is more dynamic and punchier with slightly better bass.
