I haven't used the Omnisats but, have used Nanosats in the past. As a matter of fact still have 5 in storage. I used mine with a HT setup. I thought they sounded pretty good for what I paid for them. A good sub is a must IMO.
I also have the nanosats. They are fantastic. Super wide sweet spot and neutral. However, the nanosats don't go very low. They are a non-ported 2-way design with a small driver. Not sure about the omnisats.
Thanks guys. The Omnisats are a little bit bigger and go a bit lower (70hz ish). I have front and center speakers already (with a decent sub coming in the future) and was just trying to find something that might give me a little more ambiance than the normal small speakers used for surrounds.
