    Was a "hi-res" skeptic until I pulled up some familiar albums in 24/96 on Qobuz, like Buckley's "Grace". Been cursing MQA more ever since. I'm sure you're getting a better sense of Yggdrasil's resolving abilities as well.

    Roon's got a couple ways to export library metadata - will probably do that then do a quick filter where file source /= my volumes, then see if there's a way to create a playlist in qobuz. iirc there's a plist/csv playlist converter for exactly this type of thing but i'll need to dig.

    @netforce - a while back and in a former life i was a service manager at a big-ish bike shop. whenever i had customers come back and spit me an earful I'd ask them what they did for a living. then i'd ask them when they were going to be in the office. then i'd ask them if I could give them any help with their MS Excel spreadsheets.

    my Roon trial is halfway over, haven't tried advance features yet. somehow macMini Roon to Unison YggyA2 sounds more enveloping with slightly tighter bass, than Audirvana+ over same USB cable. completely baffling.

    it wasn't always like this, but as i get old and grumpy, i just don't bother with 2nd listens to anything that doesn't hook me in some way the 1st time around. life is too short and there's too much good music out there to waste time trying to figure out what they were smoking when they reviewed Aja.
