switched the speaker cables, same speaker issue. Appears it is an issue with the woofer, as I suspected.

Well, measure the small thiele parameters of the good woofer and you can start looking at what your options are for that box.

Or do you plan to try to fix it?

Hmm... well that broken woofer doesn't sound broken anymore... that's odd, but everything sounds good again.

Also these things sound great with the pink Floyd album "Wish you were here".
The bass, and the treble quality. Just great. 15" woofers can do things headphones cant. Same with horns.

Yea, I use a 15" sub to fill out the bottom, something my horn speakers don't do on their own, but yea absolutely. HP listening has it's place, but none of my HPs can do what my horn speakers and sub does. The later is much closer to that visceral impact I enjoy at a live event (still not there, but closer).

    Got my hood 1969 amp.
My system is basically done now. Also got a Bluetooth adapter so my friends can play their music easier.

If you have not seen my other posts, I have them all set up now in my college apartment and I am just going to do some final DSP with my minidsp mic and then it should be good.

Finally got around to measuring in the big room they are in now.
Not bad, I might just play around with the minidsp a bit more though.
Red is right, green is left.
Roll off a bit in the highs as I expected with these compression drivers. Right now a bit bass heavy, but that works for college.
