    just put the z1r on after the unpacking (sat in box 3 weeks...just too busy to listen/plus had car accident with an a$ton martin car that rear ended me.)...

    update: just thought i'd quickly have a side by side listen to the senn 650s vs the sony z1r...wow, significant difference:
    ...the contrast in details, depth, separationbecomes fast apparent (let alone lusciously plump, juicy, tight bass) ..senns sound downright 'blah'.
    ...but are the Sonys 4-5x worth the price of the senns......that is still debateable.
    100 hr burn in starts now....

    I have my sony z1r up for sale...i'm just not into cans (sigh)
    so nothing about the sound sig (only listened to them for 5min, pink noise burn in 20 hrs)
    am original owner so pm me if interested.

    i just feel that spending 2k for cans isn't worth it (for ME, that is)..esp when i don't listen
    to music as much as others ...

    I think it's pretty funny though that someone would bother.

    Yeah. I always thought @chopstix was a bit off. The only reason I didn't do a "Minority Report Ban" was because I wanted to collect more browsing and IP data from him. He was using a few proxies, but what happens is people get sloppy. I'm now glad I didn't.

    I don't think this is possible anymore given the evidence that he's been a huge instigator between SBAF and HF. I'm not going to present anything because what I have would amount to doxxing.

    And I have to say, I just read the posts from that "nice community" I won't name, really nice stuff. One of them referred to my daughter as mentally retarded, very classy. She actually has a very high IQ (likely smarter than he is), just a crippling anxiety disorder, depression and agoraphobia. Any person who would make fun of a child for any reason is pretty low. Thanks again to head-fi members for actually having compassion and respect. I hope I pay it forward.

    Just so everybody who has recently tuned in knows:
    1. HF user Canali, who has been quite active on the HF Sony MDR-Z1R thread, is also @chopstix here
    2. He has been stirring up shit and inflaming tensions on both SBAF and HF.
    3. He owned the MDR-Z1R for five minutes, and then sold them because he didn't think they were worth x4-5 the price of the HD650.
    4. Some of his posts on HF have already been deleted. Scroll up to prior posts to see them.
    I just want people to know that yeah, we are a bunch of twelve year old dickheads, we are brutally direct, but we don't pull off dishonest manipulative shit like what Canali / @chopstix has been doing.

    HF has some very very seriously troubled people. The super weird thing is that he is an old guy.
