That's a decent price, but remember that with the first gen you need to use the balanced output for the best performance.

You have to use balanced out on the GO2A for the best performance as well. SE output is better than the original GOV2, but balanced is still the superior option.

Agreed, but as it's more pronounced in the GOV2, I figured it was worth mentioning.

Wow, you are right! I listened to some Big Band music, and wow. Huge difference. The UDA-1 was all muddy in the upper mid and lower treble. The Modi Multibit wasn't. Especially notable when many instruments are playing at once.

    Thanks.

This needs extra emphasis. I've been burned once with a cash deposit, had to argue with my credit card company once, and PayPal has stopped a few potential scams cold. The best one was a Woo WA5, it was basically a done deal, but PayPal said they couldn't do a business transaction to the accoun he posted. I nope'd out of that really fast.

Pretty good lookin' deal on the (excellent) UM Martian over at HF. Often gets more listening time than my full-size headphones, but I don't feel the poorer for it.

Shit, I got mine for $25 on eBay not too long ago. Albeit one driver was screwed, so I had to transplant it from my T20, which I got for $20 or so. Win some and lose some, I guess.

Wow that's pretty decent if for the r2r version. It doesn't specify whether it's the 10th anniversary edition (which was the multibit one) and I remember reading that there was a regs dac19 that wasn't multibit.

I've heard the dac19 with that chip and sounds quite nice. Still though, the Modi Multibit took the definition of value in the multibit world out back and got it pregnant.
