Yeah the BW-ES1 has some crazy bass that once tamed along with a bit of the treble, can sound quite good.

I've also heard good things about the fostex.

Shure SE215. Sounds ok, good isolation.

Thanks @Poleepkwa! Impressions on here of the same kinda give me hope I'll like it. Still rather intrigued by the Fostexes, but given their price I'm hesitating a bit.

Sorry for asking, but any direct comparisons between the SE215 and the TE-05? Those are pretty much at the top of my list. Driving with a phone cuz I'm too cheap for a DAP, and preference for IEMs is a balanced sig that leans more toward warmth (sibilance is an instant turn off).

Hopefully others can help, as I have not heard the TE-5. The SE215 is warm and dry, without much extension on top, but a good allrounder.
