Done the subwoofer crawl (within some cable length limits) and it starts to roll off under 65Hz and is -6db at 55Hz. It's rated to 23Hz so I expect to get atleast to 40 with my space restricted placement. What am I doing wrong?

Also, maybe it's worth opening a subwoofer thread? Don't see anything like that yet, would definitely be useful for subwoofer noobs like me to ask questions and learn

The subwoofer thread got shut down a while ago. Maybe it could be reopened since you have specific questions about setup/integration as opposed to their merits.

Hmm, that's a good idea @Mithrandir41. I'm should do a test in an open space to check the sub itself as well. Maybe tomorrow..

Have you fed it the souls of 5 virgin trebleheads? If not, try it and report back please.

Any updates? I was thinking of getting one of these if more stock is found.

Well, i think i had issues with the measurement setup i was using (so even a nearfield measurement right up to the cone wouldn't help me figure anything out), because I went by ear and to me the roll off sounded like it began at 41Hz so I guess that's not too bad but I can only tell how things change when I try it in another room which I haven't had the time to do.
