Remains my benchmark - extremely hard to beat for its price.

My hd600 has been content with humbling some headphones above it's price range to my ears. I love the way it's balanced/tuned.

Nice & neutral, middy. I just need some better bass basically. This pair is not going to get sold though, they're great even if it's just for checking my mixes.

The HD600 is almost 20 years old and still a force to reckoned with. Sure it's lost some ground to newer cans, but it can still hold it's own and scales really well with better upstream gear.

Sometimes I wish the subbass is better, but what's the point where it sounds so damn good when I got it new for $250.

I really need to demo a pair to compare to my 650s. It's kind of a bummer that massdrop went the 6XX route rather than doing a 650 AND 600 clone.

Would definitely demo if you get the chance, but I think even if you have both you're only gonna use one for a change of pace :)
