No shit. But the battery life is dog shit for a flagship. The 670 has 2 A75 cores which is fine for me. I'll compare photos side by side when I get it.
Also, headphone jack and the screen isn't embarrassing.
When we released the Nexus 5 for $349/399 (and the 7 and 4 before it at awesome price points) I felt really f'ing good to be part of bringing solid mobile devices to people at good prices. The Pixel devices have always felt like a f**k you to consumers. I am really excited Google is doing affordable, solid phones again.
Are these being made by the old HTC crew/factories, I wonder? It seems Google bought them, then you didn't hear a single thing about it. It just disappeared.
Google bought that part of HTC for the fundamental reason that Google’s hiring standards and job ladders could never support having an army of people who did shit like validate every one of Verizon’s 80000 requirements for TA. Google is built on employees that scale themselves and, when you’re in hardware, you need people who stay in their lane and do unscalable tasks.
I opted to trade my 2 XL in (when I upgraded to 3 XL). A quick check of eBay showed I'd get get about the same (or less) after fees as the $250 google offered.
Google has almost enough cash on hand to match Ukraine's entire GDP, and routinely shrugs off fines which would bankrupt entire companies (and third world nations). It's no wonder why they can scale anything if they really want to haha.
