I used to tend the front desk at on-campus housing weekends from 8pm-4am. Driving to my partner's place on the 405 at 4am was beautiful, you feel like you get a secret glimpse of the night. And never seen the 405 so empty.

Yeah, I worked until 1:30 last year too, though I started later. Was nice walking back to my dorm at night, so quiet. Not so nice in winter with cold and wind.

Used to work front desk at my dorm from 2am-6am. It was nice. The only silence I experienced as a college student.

I hope they have decent coffee.

I am at the technology help desk, so I tell people how to print, and I put paper in printers.
