I like the idea of stackoverflow, but not too happy with how it's turned out. The gatekeepers invalidate fine answers because it doesn't meet some guideline they setup

SO is for elitists who are too good for the elite. That said, I often refer to their site when I have dumb questions; they basically take SBAF's supposed business-only approach to its logical extreme, which makes for a good online resource but sucks pigeons for building a community. To each their own, the internet is a big place.

Learned that way back during it's inception, development, teething period... lots of "Master of the Universe" people (ie George Hotz is a good example)... just meant like,dislike,ok not the SO culture haha
