Designing treatments or you get build one from the ground up?
Doing a combo of built-ins and racks at one end of my 'office' to hold all the 2 channel gear I've been gathering, including the Genelec 1034Bs that are currently sitting on carts. Treatments come later.
Moderate, appropriate room treatments will transform the listening experience even with mediocre speakers. Excellent speakers are not allowed to perform their best without. Here is a link you might find useful http://www.aes-media.org/sections/pnw/pnwrecaps/2017/johnston_smith_mix_jan2017/
the design will include hanging\sliding panels in front of the gear (live end) that I can outfit with diffusion or absorption as needed. Im thinking 2 panels of each right now, able to switch positions, that may change depending on measured performance. Back end of room is deep shelves with lots of diffusion. Floor is a rug with heavy pads. Sides and ceiling will need to wait. :0
