I think it's illegal to buy a Telsa in Texas due to their direct sales model. If they come to Texas, they need to change that and fight the dealers.

He’s already got a spaceX location 10 miles down the road from here. He’d probably go to Austin though. Only another 80 miles away.

It’s can’t imagine it’s illegal to buy a Tesla in Texas. I was looking at getting one, and they never mentioned having to drive out of state to pick it up and bring back. They were rather emphatic about getting one that was already here in Austin so I wouldn’t have to wait

@SoupRKnowva I believe it is very simple to get one but handled as an out of state sale unless the law has changed.
