Wow. That was quite an entertainment. Time to listen to some Oliver Tree to see what all the fuss is about.

@EagleWings I learned of Anthony Fantano last week and of Oliver Tree... a month ago? Random YT Music recommendation. It's weird and fun music, but I actually enjoy it haha.

Oliver is a smart guy. He can actually sing, I wonder if he will do a price and be "The artist formally known as Oliver Tree" he said something about the label owning the name. The album did feel like he wrote it a few years ago.

Hilarious but I think this was staged. The random guy at the end dressed like Oliver gives it away. They both were playing characters at the end.

Clearly staged. I like his music and wacky music videos though, thanks for this introduction (in a roundabout way).

Oh I definitely think it was staged, just saying that as someone new to Tree I didn't know what to expect from an interview and was caught COMPLETELY off-guard, haha.

To me he's like a Joji character turned up to 12, the videos are mad and giddy; I prefer Tree's music though.

And yes roundabout seems to be my default process :))
