Modius MB? Isn’t that called a Bifrost 2?

No, Modius size with MB. Bifrost 2 stays in my living room. I don't need BF2 performance on my computer desk.

You'd better have Eitr just in case. It's oop and not sold for high price. Who knows you would have legendary vintage dacs in the future that only accept SPDIF?

I got my Eitr for free, so I'll just put it in a drawer. Not too much into vintage DACs, I like newer stuff, haha.

I’m confused about the size. Aren’t Modius and BF in the same chassis? Looks like BF is Jotunheim sized and Modius is Asgard 3 sizes, is Jot bigger than Asgard?

Modius is much thinner than BF2. Jot and Asgard should be in the same chassis family. For my computer setup I just don't need BF2 performance, but I'll take a step down for it. So Modius MB with Unison to SW51+ should be pretty jizzy.

@YMO, is it the s/pdif input you are looking to get rid of, wanting to go full on Unison? I have an RDAC sitting unused, and I confess I never even tried it except through USB...

@crenca I prefer one box that does it all. If you have a RDAC like I do, get an Eitr it will be a good improvement over USB. It's less on sound and more of cutting cables, lol.
