That is the EQ of Champions. None will ever be better so sayeth science!
On a serious note that would sound like absolute ass. I bet he didn't even apply a negative preamp which would explain why he is complaining of "digital clipping".
Not sure about negative global gains because modern eq plugins mostly automatically adjust that. But yeah, that dude doesn't know what he was doing (well, as usual), moreover he can't hear what he has done lol..
I'm sorry that's supposed to be an HD650??? Bass rolloff could be stupidity but how do you get too much 7-10k on those headphones? Either Harman is more broken than I thought or there is something very silly going on.
Also thank you for screencapping and not sharing actual links.
After reading the thread it looks like he intended to use Mad Economists Harmon compensation for HATS but used a old one that was horribly broken, so it is incredibly wrong.
That is a wonderful lesson in the importance of actually listening to EQ profiles before posting them. There is no way anyone would think that sounded correct lol.
I believe Amir did some mistakes in putting harman curve into b&k 5128.. unless 5128 is much worse than 4128 (which I had a short experience). Maybe that's a perfect example of confirmation bias.
