    DNA Starlett, but different sound. I heard good things about ZMF Pendant as well but haven't heard that one personally. If going cheaper, BHA-1 or EC BW2 if SS is fine.

    Of course, if you're talking about the non-loaded versions (which I think hover around $1k), then your options become more limited.

    "DNA Starlett, but different sound..." What is the Elekit sound in a sentance or two? Is it cleaner/quicker than the DNA sound?

    ^more along the lines of EC Ultralinear. More about straight, clean lines. Probably not as resolving (hard to tell without hearing Elekit, but EC UL trails Starlett by maybe the tiniest amount and overall I consider EC UL to be a better amp)
