Oh. Not so sure about that Z10. Not that I value this guy’s opinion normally, but Andrew Robinson said it was kind of a weaksauce amp, and he ran it with Heresy and other high efficiency speakers I believe. And he typically doesn’t pan anything, so it’s a bit of a red flag for me. Did you watch that review?
Seems others liked it with the Forte III. I do not exactly hold Robinson's opinion in high regard, but will check it out in this case. Z10 seems to check a lot of my boxes for living room use. Doesn't run dangerously hot, seems to have an enjoyable tonality and looks super sharp (WAF). Ideally would just do Schiit stack (Freya/mono Aegir/Yggdrasil), but not very living room friendly.
Makes sense. He’s only one opinion (and not one I generally trust) and I know others did like it. His main complaint was the bass I believe. I think he had them on Klipsch La Scalas as well. I think they might have a good return policy anyhow, so maybe no risk to try it (check that out though, I’m not 100% sure).
