I have mixed feelings about all-inclusives. They are relaxing and all but at the same time I’m very much an experience guy and I never feel like l’m really getting that local experience as much as I could be.

@DigMe for us, it has been a net positive, since we just wanted to sit back and relax. But there are plenty of excursions and activities from going to the temples, to visiting the reef. The only thing we've done this week outside the resort is go shopping in Playa del Carmen.
