Do they still sound like a really good Led Zep cover band or are they branching out a bit? Rather liked Black Smoke Rising but kinda just dropped interest and realised I'd rather be listening to Physical Graffiti again haha.
I've always thought they sounded like a mix between Led Zep and Rush, but what they sound like & who they're compared to is most likely going to vary depending on the person. I couldn't care less though because I simply just enjoy their music.
Their new album is mixed extremely well too, in my opinion, so it's was a treat to listen to it in one sitting.
Holy crap...70's prog is back! They finally channeled Rush and Genesis. It is really good! This is the most original they have sounded so far by still staying tied to heir influences.
And yes, recorded, mix, and mastered very well. It has dynamic range. This deserves a Grammy nom for engineering. This is one of the best rock albums SQ I have heard in awhile...like RAM good.
