My experience has led me to Furutech connectors with Supra wire. I really like the wire but as good as Furutech sounds, the plastic parts are weak.

Which connectors do you use? I saw one that costs 350$. Can I DIY it without needing to solder the cable to the connector?

I really want to use nanotec wire. If I can diy that would be awesome. But I don’t have any experience with soldering

Power connectors are screw in types for mains and IEC. Soldering would be difficult for that girth.

Soldering is not necessay when there is good enough screw terminal design. Like those on Neutrik connectors. The fewer metal transitions, the better. The wiring geometry (EM coupling), materials, even the insulator material all matter, when the system is transparent enough.

For my next DIY power cables I would tin the wires to ensure the best contact.
